Anthropologists on "Bones"?

Like most other TV shows that deal with fields that require a lot of expertise, you need to take it with a huge grain of salt. Its not impossible for someone like her to be that knowledgeable, but usually it is only after someone has been working the field for a while and even then, they probably would not know that much. As for being paired with an FBI agent, that would never happen. An anthropologist is almost always in a lab unless they need to head out to the field to examine the remains, but even that is highly unlikely. Most of the time the law enforcement will bring the remains to the anthropologist and then the anthropologist will do the examination and return their findings of the remains. They will not be a part of the case until the trial (if there is one) where they will be a witness and testify to their findings. And just remember, its a tv show so most of this stuff is done for the entertainment value.
