Why was Jesus called a tourmentor by the demons but Jesus was nice to them?

It's never useful to try and combine logic and superstition.Ascribing words and motives to made up creatures like demons or trolls or wizards or gods leads nowhere. You need to ask yourself what the author's motives were in making up the creatures and their words.
