Left foot points outwards causing knee problems?
if the foot pointing outward IS the problem, the inside of your knee would be the most symptomatic;; what you need to do is CONSCIOUSLY get the foot pointing inward by taking this in baby steps;; in other words, DON'T do it all @ once for the reasons you are noticing already;; ya do it a centimeter @ a time (not precisely, ya know what I mean);; when you sit & stand, & travel up & down steps & squat for any reason, you NEED to start catching yourself to train yourself knees over toes, & foot "forward" (to tolerance);; the more you consciously make an effort to turn that foot slightly in, the more your muscles will strengthen accordingly & thus help to support your knee;; ya have to do what you're already doing, just not so far when you do it;; a little ea day gets the job done;; ever hear of the tortoise & the hare?? perfect moral "code" for getting the body to do what you want it to do;; one thing I learned in my practice & the MOST important thing I learned in my practice is that the body responds to whatever you do to it;; one reason why the foot actually only "gains strength" when your standing...works & looks the way it does because it has to tolerate our weight ALL THE TIME...good luck, you just haven't been paying attention to the "right way" to use your legs, & subsequently strengthened one side....incidently, check out the arches on your feet, better yet, have someone else check them for you;; make sure you have arch supports in your shoes too;; if not already in there, get some from the drugstore...my goodness, this is long..sorry, but I've really only touched your problem...good luck!! but doc's help!!
