Why did they do that to Emmet Till?

There's a fear inside of people of things that are different. They were just looking for an excuse to do something about that fear within themselves. They hated themselves SO much that the beating they gave Emmett Till was a reflection of the beating they would have given themselves if they could. I watched a doentary about this and I have seen Emmett Till's remains. Let it stand as a testament to the injustice and hatred that we had to endure in the past, but not as an excuse to not move forward as a generation that knows better toward the future.
