Husbands orders switched to accompanied tour... Do I have to leave?

My husband is a marine stationed in Okinawa, japan on an unaccompanied tour. I came to visit for the holidays & got here december 4th 09. Whole I was here his orders were switched to accompanied. I've done my area clearence & all the paperworks been done. But my question is would I have to leave japan & re enter since they normally only allow u to stay under temp. Visa for 90 days? Or am I good to stay? U don't have to apply for this visa it's just a genric thing... But my pport does say I'm suppose to leave by march 4th which is coming up..Ah. Plz help
