Today, I was invited to a party at school. We have some Korean Exchange Students, and they are having a big good-bye party at their house. I got an invitation from Lyle; he was not a Korean. The soldier is a 63A (tank mechanic), and now with the two level maintainence restructuring of the Army there are very few duty positons for an 63A30. I have Sr. Mechanic, and Section Sgt., but I'm at a loss for the third. I feel positons like t. operations NCO, DI, or some cadre positions are a cop out. Anyone have any ideas. My daughter is an alcoholic. Well my husband would complain right along with you however I'm only 28. It seems as though even after woman p menopause (according to my mom that we still have the occasional hot flashes) But I've noticed that it has more to do with the fact that my hubby is a small thin guy and not that I am fat but I am heavier than him therefore retain more body heat. I took my 2000 (OBD II) nissan sentra to a repair shop and I had to get my catalytic converter replaced.?

When my repair was done, I drove off and about 5 minutes of driving off the lot, my "check engine" light showed up again. I took the car back into the shop immediately and they discovered that both of my O2 sensors were bad. They now want to charge me for diagnosing the problem and told me that both my o2 sensors need to be replaced. I feel that this shop might have caused the problem accidently or even purposely. I know to access the cat converter requires some messing around with the o2 sensors so could these new car trouble codes be caused by their own sloppy work? This is a AAMCO franchise I am dealing with. I supplied my own part (they wanted double for the same EXACT part) and now they are telling me "if i went with them, I would had warranty on my labor." Any advice?

Aw I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I'm not going to defend his behaviour cos its awful that he doesn't ask you are you ok etc but to see why he acts like this all I can think is maybe in his past he has had bad experiences with confrontation. Like you can imagine if a man asks his wife is she is ok and she yells at him and tells him all the things he is doing wrong, he wouldn't want to ask her again cos he knows what reaction he'll get. I'm sure you're not doing this but maybe other people have reacted this way to him in the past (friends and family etc) and he thinks its better to just have a quiet life than get into any arguments etc. Or maybe he's not good with people feeling emotional, some people aren't sure how to act when others are crying but cos he's your husband he should be comfortable enough to just ask you and know you aren't going to snap at him or anything that would scare him off. Try talking to him and telling him that it upsets you that he doesn't ask you how you feel. If he doesn't want to sit down and talk for a few mins and hear what you have to say, then it comes down to does he want the marriage to work? Perhaps saying that will scare him into thinking "right, I'm married so I have to talk about things in order for us to work". I hope he agrees to even hear you out and really listen to you and then hopefully start doing the things you want. They aren't big things so he shouldn't have a problem with it, he just has to start thinking about your feelings and not just his own. I hope you both can work things out!

I think you may be obbessing about it... if you just follow the proposed portions from every food group, you should be fine (adjustments may need to be made...?) and if you want to loose weight, you simply have to burn more calories then you take in every day (via the preferred method of your choice). Don't obbsses over it though. That's not healthy for you either. It can lead to problems such as anorexia and beuolemia (I think I spelled that one wrong XD) and that's a bigger problem then going a few hundred calories over your daily goal.

My son is 8 years old and at times can be destructive.. our main problem is he likes to get on the counter and turn the burner on the stove. Bard High School Early College?

Hey! Congrats on getting into Bard! I'm going to be a junior at Bard this coming fall, and could not imagine myself in another school. As for the supplies, don't worry about that just yet. Every teacher is different and will require you to get different things. If you really want to get started on that then just get notebooks, loose leaf, folders, and a binder. For the first week of cles (or less-maybe 3 or 4 days, we don't know yet) the entire school will have Writing & Thinking. This means that cles won't actually start till the second week of school or such. In Writing & Thinking each student is igned a room and spends the week or so with the people in that room. The people range from freshmen to seniors. There are about 15 students in each room. Honestly, I don't like Writing & Thinking because I love starting cles, but it's nice for freshman to meet upper cl men and especially read and hear their writing. Everyone writes, and then shares, etc. The school year has two semesters, and depending on what your schedule is you might have some of the same people in your cles. You definitely won't have multiple classes with all the same people. At most you will probably have 3 of the same classes with someone. In the second semester of freshmen year your schedule and the people you have classes with might change because you choose your language at that time. Personally, I love Bard! The teachers and students are great and very caring. The teachers are extremely smart and the classes are VERY interesting! Too many exciting things happen throughout the year-so many that it's too long to list. Truthfully, the work load in Bard is insane-I go to bed around 2 am every school night, but after a year one gets used to it. It's A LOT of pain, but the results are so worth it! Well it sounds like she's acting like that because she's hurt about the way your sister behaved and she doesn't want to get involved in all drama. By getting your family involved (even unintentionally), you made it more complicated that it needed to be. All you can really do now, if you want to be friends with her, is try and talk to her in person and apologize for what's happened, and explain it all. I've talked to several people about this, including my pastor. My pastor is disabled, and it took her a long time to get disability. Sometimes you won't get it on the first try. I have a friend who applied for it for 4 years before he got it, and once he did, he got back payments from the first time he filed. Your mother needs to keep refiling and get a new lawyer and judge. It make take several tries, but once she gets it she'll get back payments for it. Many people get turned down the first time. I have a friend with severe arthritis and fibromyalgia, and she has to refile too. And here's another thing, as long as your mother keeps saying that "she's fine", she won't get a dime from these people. She has to go in and show them what she is at her very worst, only then will she have a chance. My friend has that problem too. I told her she has to ditch the "stiff upper lip" thing and SHOW them how much pain she's in. That's the only way it's going to work. I know all about arthritis. I have it too, but not that severe yet, and I have fibromyalgia also. Your mom needs to realize she is NOT ok, and needs help. But she has to be willing to play the game and get what she's entitled to.

Lab has a cough that sounds like the heartworm cough but tested negitive for heartorms last month?

a friend of ours has a lab that was just at the vet last month for rabies shot and heartworm testing and the test came back negitive. Now the dog is coughing and it sounds like the cough a dog gets when they have heartworms. the dog has been on heartwoem prevetitive since last month so I dont really think it is heart worms could the dog have a hairball or just a cold as the weather has been pretty screwy around here for the last few weeks in the 60's and 70's during the day and down to the 20's and 30's at night (that's indiana for you lol) I am hoping that its just a cold or a hairball and not heartworms as the dog comes and plays with my 4 dogs.

Why does my bird like to nibble/bite/suck on my hand?

My green cheek conure thinks I'm his chew toy. He enjoys constantly nibbling on my hands and i have been trying hard to get him to stop but he just seems to be fascinated with it. There have been times where I should have been seriously injured or dead, does this mean I am in fact indestructible? I have had my foot run over by a 2 ton vehicle and didn't even break it, doctors were puzzled as well. Hello, I'm from Belgium, and I've always been in love with south american football, is incredible how even thought they have only a few world cup spots, they have managed to win the world cup 9 times..
