What ... is poetry? Is it not something different to every person?

As long as I don't have to read it off your fly, I will tell you that you have written a poem. It may mean something different to different people because of their interpretation of it, but nonetheless, it is poetry. I have tried writing free verse and metered rhyme, and am not good at either. Maybe someday I will try again.
