How many times are people gonna predict the end of life?

Well people always predict the end of the world, but they usually aren't real. Like they said we were all gonna die at 2006 I think, or that was 2008. But they were going by years of 4 about when we were all gonna die. But I am a christian so I say if the planet is real, then that's weird.
